Circuit breakers NZM and IZM
The circuit-breaker series NZM offers optimum installation protection up to 1600A with four sizes. The air circuit breaker IZM, also with four sizes, covers the power range up to 6300 A. Both series are characterised by their high switching capacities and comprehensive range of accessories and provide a solution for every application. The circuit breakers allow you to cost-effectively engineer the required dimensions and ratings of the switch.

NA-Protection   Grid and System Protection
Due to the rapid growth in the number of decentralised power generation plants, additional measures have to be implemented in order to further ensure the stability of the grid. The application guidelines e.g. in Germany VDE-ARN-4105 include the following measures: When the low-voltage grid is subject to impermissible voltage or frequency deviations, generator plants must be disconnected. Eaton provides prefabricated solutions for installations from 30kVA to 100kVA. In the UK dedicated G59 protection relays ensure generators over 50kVA maintain compliance with local network regulations.

Globally accredited to IEC 60269-6, UL 2579, CC and CSA, the fuse links are capable of interrupting low overcurrents associated with faulted PV (reverse current, multi-array fault) systems. A range of NH size fuse links specifically designed to IEC 60269-6 and UL 2579 for protecting and isolating photovoltaic array combiners and DC disconnects. The fuses also benefit from low power loss and a dual indicating feature.
