Switch-disconnectors N…DC in the special version for up to 1500 V DC can be used on 1 or 2-pole systems. They comply with the isolation properties even for earthed IT networks. Accessories, such as Bridge kits, connection terminals and door coupling rotary handles enable individual installation in the most varied of distribution systems. Auxiliary switches, voltage releases and remote operators facilitate signalling and automation.

DC Switch Disconnect P-SOL     DC switch-disconnectors P-SOL
The two pole switch-disconnector P-SOL is tested according to IEC / EN 60947-3 and TÜV-certified. The P-SOL is designed for installation in customer-specific enclosures or inverters. It’s suitable for voltages up to 1,000 V DC. There are two frame sizes (fs1 for 20 A and 30 A and fs2 for 63 A). The two-pole switching makes it possible to use the P-SOL for non-earthed systems as well.


The P-SOL has extensive accessories such as:
  • Separate rotary handles and shaft extensions allow for flexible installation
  • An auxiliary switching block can be mounted in order to provide switching state feedback
  • A shunt release or undervoltage release is available for remote tripping

DC String CB PKZSOL    

DC string circuit-breakers PKZ-SOL
String circuit breakers protect PV modules from fault currents. They prevent (in larger systems, for instance) intact modules from feeding power back into a module with a short-circuit. Unlike fuses, they are ready for operation immediately after tripping and after the trip cause has been fi xed. The PKZ-SOL is a perfect fit  for customized generator terminal boxes. The PKZ-SOL is suitable for voltages up to 900 VDC. With their variable trip range, the PKZ-SOL can be optimally adjusted to the actual short-circuit current of a string. There are three types for 12 A, 2 0A and 30 A.

MV Xiria    
Medium-voltage systems XIRIA
XIRIA ring main units protect applications up to 24kV. They operate with a combination comprised of circuitbreakers and electronic relays and feature high level of operational safety and a compact design. They are available in a wide range of configurations of Vacuum Circuit Breaker and Load Break Switch and can be customised to include, for example, metering and grid protection relays. An extensible version is available. All utilise vacuum switching technology which eliminates the use of environmentally damaging SF6 gas.
